The story of the artists behind Galleri www.voehlert.dk takes its beginning in 1988 when Jane and John got to know each other. Their meeting led to a lifelong alliance, a steady marriage and two lovely children.
Their interest in art was aroused when, in the mid-nineties Jane and John wanted to adorn their home with a personal painting. Their point of departure was that the colours should match the existing interior decor, that the shapes should incite to interpretation – and that the inspiration should come straight from the heart.
Having acquired canvas and paint, together they went to work. The result was excellent, and Jane and John received so much positive response that they began to create paintings on request. The process of creating a painting is always joint – whether it be Jane or John who makes the fi rst brushstrokes on the canvas. They both paint on all pictures, and this close joint effort is not fortuitous.
TWO ENERGIES IN UNISON
No yin without yang – and vice versa. Based on the philosophy that everything in life embraces both the feminine and the masculine aspects, Jane and John have decided that they both put their marks on each work of art that they create. Galleri www.voehlert.dk has been in existence in Denmark
successfully since 2001. Jane and John are assiduous in their studio and new paintings emerge constantly. Their website www.voehlert.dk is continually updated, thus including their latest works of art.

The reverse of all the works of voehlert.dk bears an original signing in red sealing wax.
Voehlert.dk uses an old-fashioned sealing technique using a silver stamp, and numbering. This is your proof of having acquired an original voehlert.dk work of art.
CERTIFICATE
When you buy a work of art at voehlert.dk, you receive a certificate which contains the number of the painting and its www address.
The owner of the certifi cate is regarded as the owner of the painting in question on all requests to voehlert.dk. An agreement can be made for the owner of the certifi cate to have the title of the painting, and thus its www address, changed.
